Bouncing in my chair at work all day? Dreaming about theme camp set up? Picking out costumes and thinking about new ones that I just *have* to make? Driving an hour and a half for donated cushions for camp? Scheduling "work weekends" EVERY weekend?

Mmm yep, a bit excited :o)

For me, and my peeps, it truly is a homecoming, because we live so far away we frequently only see certain people once or twice a year...it makes each moment at PDF that much more special when you know that this is your chance for the year to spend as much time with your family as you can :o)

You're from Rochester, home of the Eastman Kodak Land Camera ( and many other things ) The Rochester Institute of Technology! I came from Upstate NY where if you own a Radio Shack franchise, you're on top of the technology world. I look forward to meeting you, and being part of your family, I hope I can become one of those special people you meet once or twice a year.

At least, people tell me I'm special. I'll bet you're special too. Well you have to be, otherwise you wouldn't have family at the Playa! Right?

      Oh, love, Yes.

The next six weeks are going to be so long, yet great at the same time, one of the things I adore so much is the whole getting ready to go and packing to go....oh, and all the fun stuff to create and make along the way too.

I really need this PDF coming up....it sure has been a long ass seven months.

Whoo .......hooooo..............is it time to leave for Delaware yet, eh, is it?

I will make sure to bring along some 'fine wine' sweetie, because whatever makes you happy makes me happy and PDF with Melly makes me happy, and digging around the backyard and finding truffles makes me happy, and hunneybears, and butterflies makes me happy and the ice luge makes me happy and - gosh these mushrooms are making me happy.

I finally gave in and bought a bug net hat. I almost got the "mosquito net suit." But figured that 1) it looked way to dumb 2) it would quickly get holes in it which the bugs would find, but then not be able to get back out and be trapped inside with me.

Such are the perils of the swamp in spring.

I've never been bothered by the bugs, then again I'm covered in a thick coating of deet at all times. Better living through chemistry. I'm invisible to them. A bug ninja!

Number one most accepted gift, a deet spray-down.

Yah man, your advise is sage. Or deet. Personally I ingest enough alcohol to make my sweat toxic to most lifeforms, including my pillows. But this year I'm toning it down a notch, because I might want to volunteer for RangerShip, so I will pick a ranger and stalk him/her.

I was given a big mosquito net, so I will be using that. I will need help putting it up tho. Cn Yz Helpz Plz? Bug Ninja!

I will have to identify you, jump out of nowhere, and tackle you down man, God I am so looking forward to this.

Better Living through Bacon! (extra krispy!)

              Love

I don't consume enough alcohol to kill insects. I need a bug zapper or something. They're great because you get bug genocide, along with blacklights which are just cool. Oh and sparks!

I own a bug net that fits over my head and hat, but I have never felt the need to use it ever. Those little gnat type bugs are the only ones that bother me, mostly because they're so stupid they randomly fly into my eyes. They're so small I bet they'd go through the netting though.

Bug nets are definitely awesome. They were a great addition to the greeter station. I may or may not be able to help put yours up, but I'm pretty sure you're gonna tackle me either way. It may depend on if I want to claim space in it to hide or not. :)

I guess the best thing we can do is hope for wind. And bug zappers on every generator.

Actually the best we can do should be a huge toxic chemical fog and everyone gets gas masks. But the hippies won't let us. Whaaa we don't like being poisoned.

I don't eat meat, but I would still like to cover every square inch of the earth in thin juicy strips of bacon. Sort of like alt.pave.the.earth only with bacon. My plan is very popular in rural Africa. Although there is some concern about its effects on brush fires with bacon grease accelerant. The UN wont return my calls.

Usually I'm pretty fortunate. Most mosquitoes don't bite me. The Asian tiger mosquitoes* still bite the hell out of me, but I've only run into them in more urbanized areas, not at PDF. The midges and such at PDF usually don't bother me that much either. It is the flies constantly landing on my face, it just drives me slowly insane.

*they are the white and black ones that are really aggressive and were blamed for being one of the main spreaders of west nile virus in the mid-Atlantic.

The plural for fly swatters is 'Sleeve'? Andy, you are a nomenclature magician. I want to help you cook. I'll bring some stovage, and a ferment of Tofu, heavily marin
