Good old Classic Rock

topic posted Fri, May 2, 2008 - 10:51 AM by  Julia
Going to try adding something a little different to the music this year by having a couple hours of good old late 60-early 80's style vinyl classic rock. Zepplin, Rare Earth, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath and whatever other albums I drag along. Im no DJ but I had to find something to do with all the albums. Thought I would share them some at PDF..

    ?????????????????????????????????

If some people really think this is a cool Idea, I have tentatively signed up for a little more time friday Night after the ranger training. I dont want to hog the stage but don't mind playing this stuff friday night if people are interested. I am sure there will be alot of EDM every where else. I was just trying to create a bit of a change.

Feed back is appreciated so I can give back some of the stage time if this all seems kind of stupid..

it right now would be for about 2 hrs before the ranger training an 1 1/2 after.. To excessive??? let me know or I am sure jeremy will.. LOL

Alright after listening to some of the tracks I havent heard in a long while. I really love a 23 minute live version of Get Ready By Rare Earth. Its long so I am not sure I will play it but it was awesome. Definitely alot of good music for those into it..

I would love to hear anything that the phrase BPM doesn't apply to! Thanks for doing this. In general I like B sides or deeper cuts.
--Song-Mississippi Queen--Any Deep Purple or Older Sabbath albums

Dark Side of The Moon would be fricking magic at twilight.

Were I to even suggest Molly Hatchet I fear the DJs will track me down and glitter and feather me.

But in the spirit of radical self expression, all tastes should be tolerated.

I will not be using the Term BPM at all

I am definitely bringing Deep Purple and Black Sabbath..

I also Have Missippi Queen By Mountain so It will be there..

I really Love what I consider rock anthems etc.

Things Like "Child in Time" By Deep Purple..

I did notice the stage i snot booked for anything before me so who knows maybe I will just play whenever I get set up if people want to here it and the The folks running the stage (Synz) dont have a problem with it..

I must admit I love my EDM too but it is AWSOME hearing feedback from folks for the Classic Rock and Naming groups and tracks I have long adored. Its refreshing in a way since i spend every weekend embedded in the EDM scene. I cant wait to party to Both with all you folks in under a week..
