From now until mid June, nominations are being accepted for the Board of Directors of Playa del Fuego, Inc. There will be nominations forms at PDF, but you can also complete them by email.

The Board of Directors of Playa del Fuego, Inc. are responsible for the long term organizational planning.
The Board of Directors does not plan the event. Planning the event is the responsibility of the open Planning
Committee. Board members may choose whether or not to participate in the Planning Committee, although one Board
member must always attend. Playa del Fuego, Inc. is a 501(c)3 Non-profit Corporation.
Requirements:
Nominees must have attended at least one Playa del Fuego before the event they are nominated at. (Spring of the
current year)
Nominees must be at least eighteen years of age.
Nominees agree to serve a 1 year term.
Board members must attend at least two Board of Directors meetings in person or by phone each year.
Board members must attend the annual fall retreat. Dates will be scheduled in advance, annually.
Board members must be able to work cooperatively with the rest of the Board of Directors.
Nominees who meet the above requirements will be contacted for further information and interviews. They will
also be given more information concerning what will be expected of them as members of the Board of Directors.
The Board of Directors will determine which nominees are elected by a vote of the Board of Directors during the
summer. No date is set at this time. Newly elected Board Members at Large will serve a one year trial term.
