We've decided on a new reimbursement policy, in which all receipts must be submitted for reimbursement by the end of the current calendar year. In the future, that means that if you buy something in May and don't submit a receipt by December 31, your purchase will have to be considered a donation. After that time, you're welcome to submit them to me in exchange for a receipt for tax purposes.

For this year, though, we're offering amnesty. Any receipts you're holding for purchases made at any time in the past can still be submitted for reimbursement through December 31, 2009. At the beginning of next year, we start afresh. We just have too many people who've been meaning to get us their receipts forever, which makes it difficult to do realistic budget forecasting, because we may or may not have expenses outstanding. Please help us meet our community's goals by sending your receipts for reimbursement!
